You are not fun at parties. Wanna know why? It’s because you are way too smart. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing bad about it. It’s just this attitude of yours…

You see, you have become anti-social. I know what you’re gonna say: “Yeah, but society is so full of idiots! Just look at them, always following the latest trends like sheep, consumed by their own consumerism, never thinking anything deep” and so on. You do realise you sound a bit like your grandparents, don’t you?

Those ‘sheep’ you’re referring to are people just like you. OK, not so smart as you. And why is that wrong? And why should they be called ‘idiots’ in the first place? Do all people need to be experts in physics and art, listen to ‘good music’ (really, smartass?), always be deep in thought? Can’t a person just relax for a moment?

No, I’m not against education, yes I believe some things are stupid too. But that’s no reason enough not to socialize with others! I know you’ve got your own image for a perfect society, but that isn’t happening anytime soon. And thank God! Should every person on this planet become what you envision to be ‘acceptable’, then we’d all be clones. Where is the fun in that?

You need to realise that everyone is different. Everyone has their own troubles. Everyone has an image of the world with themselves reigning over it and the entire population becomes subservient to them… no, that’s just me. OBEY ME, SHEEPLING! Jokes aside, you need to stop thinking of others as ‘idiots’. Try to be more open to this world. Stop being the one person who sits in the corner, sipping their drink without talking to anybody. The rest are out there, partying. Are you going to join them?
